Cape San Blas Real Estate Week in Review – Feb. 20-26, 2021

For Sale Sold Sign  Our market sales activity is moving intoTwilight Zone territory, as we closed a record 22 sales and wrote up an unbelievable thirty-four new contracts.  Sellers added ten new listings and made thirteen price changes. Our inventory slashed 21 off its total, closing the week at 169, with 45 homes and 124 lots listed for sale in the Cape San Blas, Indian Pass and C-30 Corridor market. To put those numbers into perspective, our total market inventory is now down 21% from where it was two weeks ago. Cape San Blas Real Estate Week in Review – Feb. 13-19, 2021

For Sale Sold Sign  Somebody cue Buffalo Springfield – “There’s something happening here, what it is ain’t exactly clear . . . “   Our market is totally white hot on fire. This week we closed five sales and put a record number twenty-nine properties under contract. Sellers offered up twelve new listings, five of which are already under contract, and made but three price changes, one of which was a price increase.   Our inventory dropped by 25, dipping below 200 for the first time since I started writing this blog in 2007, closing the week at 190 with 41 houses and 149 lots listed for sale in the Cape San Blas, Indian Pass and C-30 Corridor MLS market.

Cape San Blas Real Estate Week in Review – Feb. 6-12, 2021

For Sale Sold Sign   I think someone must have forgotten to pay the sunshine bill because we sure haven’t seen much sun this past week. Even so, it didn’t dim buyers’ views on snapping up real estate as we had four sales (all houses or condos) and wrote up fourteen new contracts. Sellers added a whopping seventeen new listings, and changed prices on three others. Our inventory swelled by eight, closing the week at 215, with 44 houses and 171 lots listed for sale in the Cape San Blas, Indian Pass and C-30 Corridor MLS market.

Cape San Blas Real Estate Week in Review – Jan. 30-Feb. 5, 2021

For Sale Sold Sign    Area closing attorneys and title teams took a bit of a breather this week closing ‘only’ five sales but Realtors kept on cranking out new contracts, writing up a total of 16. Crazy.  Sellers added eleven new listings to the mix, and made seven price changes. Our inventory dropped to 211, down 13 from last week, with only 48 homes and 163 lots listed for sale in the Cape San Blas, Indian Pass and C-30 Corridor MLS market.

At this rate it seems possible we could just run completely out of inventory!
